Since 1987, Matt Hybarger has performed with, written songs for, and collaborated alongside notable artists including: Gary McSpadden, Steve Archer, Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael O’Brien, Michael English, Scott Krippayne, Sandi Patty, The Archers, Allen Asbury, Benjamin Orr, Rich Mullins, Jonathan Pierce, Eddie Rabbitt, Johnny Rodriguez, Keith Brown, Dallas Holm, The Katinas, Julie Miller, Rob Frazier, Russ Lee, Clay Crosse, Mike Eldred, Bruce Carroll, Randy Stonehill, Terri Gibbs, Johnny Rodriguez, Jessy Dixon, David Meece, 4Him, Bryan Duncan, Billy Sprague, Kim Boyce, The Imperials, David & The Giants and Isaac Air Freight.

Matt twice played Jesus in the touring company of the classic musical, Godspell. He is probably best known for the When Life Gets Broken project which yielded three Top 10 singles, “When Life Gets Broken” featuring Russ Lee & Michael O’Brien (#6) “Never  Alone” a duet with Kellye Huff (#8) and Hybarger’s anthem, “Run To His Arms” (#9) which spent a grand total of 256 weeks on the Inspirational Chart.

The title cut was also recorded by Grammy and Dove Award winner, Sandi Patty and founding Point of Grace member Heather Payne and released as the lead single from Sandi’s Dove Award winning CD, The Edge of The Divine.

Matt’s other radio hits include “You Are Here” (#5) & “The Purpose in the Pain” (with Scott Krippayne) (#2), “Come As You Are” (#3) along with his re-imagination of the Eagles’ classic “Desperado”, the George Strait Holiday classic, “Old Time Christmas” and his rendition of “Grown Up Christmas List”.

Hybarger’s songs have been performed by Sandi Patty, Natalie Grant, Clay Crosse, Michael O’Brien, Russ Lee, The Ball Brothers and international artists, The Asidors among many others. Matt’s music is currently streamed in over 80 countries around the world on Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, iHeart Radio. 

Matt is booking concert dates for 2022-23, including his well received “WORSHIP & THE WORD” events, SUMMERPALOOZA and the GROWN UP CHRISTMAS TOUR which features Grammy Winner and CCM Pioneer, Steve Archer and lead vocalist for Windy City, Ken Eger along with Matt’s wife Beth who is a featured performer with the legendary Rich-Tone Chorus.
